Off the cruise ships / A day in Ephesus area:

Ephesus has always been a very popular stop for cruise ships.
Most of the cruise ships dock (or rarely) tender in Kusadasi; 20 minutes drive away from Ephesus.

Kusadasi is a middle sized summer resort town by the Aegean Sea, offering guests clean environs, sandy beaches, a touristy market, restaurants mostly serving western style and some local food.
The port is located very central town, only a few minutes walk away from the market area.

Having a full day tour with us in Kusadasi/Ephesus area, guests will have time to see:

- Ephesus,
- Terrace Houses of Ephesus,
- Museum of Ephesus (small museum with a fine collection of findings from Ephesus / not overwhelming),
- Temple of Artemis (one of the Seven Wonders of Ancient World... not much left to this day... so, please lower your expectations!),
- House of Virgin Mary (if interested / located 10 minutes uphill driving from Ephesus),
- Visit to a local mosque (if interested / might be a very good idea if the ship does not stop in Istanbul).
Starting at around 9am, depending on how interested you are with our explanations, this tour is over around 4-5pm.

To give you an idea, lets say if guests are a party of six, rate of the day is
350 Euros (in total, not per person).

This rate includes:
• our daily tour guiding services,
• a private air-conditioned van in service for the entire day,
• all expenses related with the private van such as fuel expenses, parking fees, services of a driver, etc.

This rate does not include:
• museum admission fees of our guests,
• personal expenses of our guests such as lunches (if necessary), drinks, etc.

Remarks:
• the only reason we are not including museum admission fees into this rate is simply because this is a private tour and we, as your tour guides, are very happy taking our guests to one or ten different museums / locations in a day, all depending on personal interests.
• please give us the flexibility to change the order of visits whenever necessary. This, sometimes, becomes a must in Ephesus area, to avoid crowds.
• the rate you find above is the rate valid in 2009, for a party of six. We, naturally, are very happy operating for 2 persons, 10 people or parties of any size. Please feel free to get in touch for details.
