An 80 minutes domestic flight away from Istanbul, there is Cappadocia.
And in this world, there is nothing similar to Cappadocia of this size.

There are different ways to visit Cappadocia, all depending on time availability.
A good idea is dedicating at least 2 days/nights stay in the region since things to see in the area spread to a much larger scale than many people believe.

Below is a sample itinerary:
Day 1: Assuming that you have things to cover in Istanbul, late afternoon flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia.
Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 2: All day touring Cappadocia.
Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 3: Touring Cappadocia till late afternoon. Evening flight back to Istanbul.
Overnight in Istanbul.

Highlights of Cappadocia are:
* Goreme OpenAir Museum,
* Goreme Town,
* Kaymakli or Derinkuyu underground cities,
* Cavusin,
* Uchisar,
* deserted cave villages,
* different valley visits.
Then, if there is time left, visits to:
* Zelve Open Air Museum,
* Avanos Town,
* Urgup Town,
and many many many picture stops.

Above names may not mean much to guests at this stage, however, these are the locations where we find the best formations of Cappadocia. And, there may not be much of a point in shaping fixed itineraries since we (as your tour guides) tend to change visiting hours to above locations depending on how crowded those locations would be during the day.

Although there are some 4-5 star hotels in the area, the unique Cappadocian overnight stays are at cave hotels offering cave rooms to guests. Some of these boutique hotels offer 5 stars comfort in rooms.
